Recipe for a Shower

I am the type of person that requires a shower every day (unless I'm at Camp at South Lake)...not only to wake up, but also to warm up during the cold winter days. So, here is my recipe for guaranteeing a shower, while caring for two small children.

2 Bouncey seats

Queen size bed or larger

2 1/2 year-old that still fits in a bouncey seat

PBS shows that entertain from 7-11am (you never know when the shower will occur during that time block)

See picture for the rest of the explanation.

welcome back to the blogosphere!

can't wait for the return of bouncey seats. if i'm home alone and have to shower, greta either splashes at my feet or we lock her in the bathroom, where she proceeds to empty all the drawers.

Esme gets locked in the bathroom with me where she would happily play with the bath toys or peek-a-boo with the shower curtain. But now that she's a climber she moves the stool over to the sink and tries to reach the faucets and her toothbrush. Maybe it's time to get the bouncy seat back out?
