After years of admiring the craftsmanship of a local artist at various art shows, we decided that this was the summer to purchase one of his works of art...a double-seater Adirondack chair! We contemplated whether to buy a two-seater bench or the chair, and decided that allow more difficult to get in and out of, the chair would have to be it! We also have an umbrella that can be inserted in the middle for those hot, sunny days! Time to grab a beverage, sit back and relax...now that's the life!

looks like natural wood -- pre-stained or are you going to stain or paint it?
We plan to leave it as is. It's made of cypress (from the swamps in South Carolina)and has been sealed. I'm sure over time it will take on a somewhat weathered look...au natural!
