The Cousin/Family Reunion

After many years, the four cousins and their families finally reunited for a fun-filled weekend in North Carolina. We had a great time watching all of our kids play, just like we used to many years ago. What a memorable weekend! We need to do it more often!

Got Milk?

We're making progress! Depending on her mood, Lauren will actually help hold her bottle during feedings, witnessed here one night at dinner. Now if we could just get her to feed herself during her night wakings! In due time...

Pretty in "Green"?

By coincidence, both Kate and Lauren have green velvet dresses. So, I thought I would take advantage of the opportunity and dress them similar for church this past Sunday. Kate was very excited when I first brought Lauren downstairs in her dress, exclaiming "Oh, she's so cute!" But, when I brought down her dress, she was even more excited..."I have a green dress too!!!"

Adventures at Bond Park

This past Saturday, we met up with some friends at a nearby park for some fun in the sun. Kate took advantage of the nice weather and played at the playground, rocked in the rocking chairs at the boathouse, watched the ducks, and threw rocks into the lake (one of her favorite pasttimes). Lauren, on the other hand, decided to enjoy the nice breeze and take a snooze in her stroller. She did awake to enjoy some of the scenery before we left. It was a great spring day!

How can you resist?!

Lauren receives numerous hugs and kisses throughout the day...but, how could you resist?! Just look at that smile and those chubby cheeks!

Is there a doctor in the house?

Kate loves playing with this stethoscope (compliments of the Gilmores) and is fascinated with heartbeats. At first we were convinced she would pursue a career as a veterinarian (considering her love for animals), however, now we're not sure. She listens to the heartbeat of anything ranging from people, to stuffed animals, to cushions, to characters in books. The sky is the limit! She does have a wonderful bedside manner, I must admit!

Who is Who?

Can you tell these two girls are sisters?! But, the real question is, which picture is of Kate and which is of Lauren? Kate was actually two weeks younger when her picture was taken. Enjoy!
